2016 Homecoming

Wristbands — To Purchase, CLICK HERE

  • Students are encouraged to purchase wristbands for the weekly events and the dance. This is to encourage involvement and participation.
  • A wristband is $30. It will get the student into all of the events for FREE throughout the week (Dodgeball, Color Run, Unified Soccer, Powderpuff; first 200 get food at Chili Cook-off and Tailgate) and will be his/he ticket into the dance on Saturday.
    • If the student does not have a wristband, every event is $5.
    • A Homecoming dance tickets on its own will be $25 and can be purchased online, during lunch or at the door at the dance. Students who purchase a dance-only will not get a wristband until he/she arrives at the dance in Parker.
    • Have a date from another school? You can pre-pay for his/her dance-only ticket or purchase a ticket once you get there.
      • You will also need to complete a GUEST FORM and turn it in to the main office.
  • The wristband will NOT get students into sporting events. A ticket or activity card must be used.

ROAD TRIP ACROSS THE USA

Monday: Ski Town USA (Colorado)

  • Dress Up: White Out
  • First-Day Assembly, after 3rd period
  • Dodgeball, 6:30 p.m. in the main gym
    • Team sign ups will be in the commons Thursday, Sept. 15 at 8:30 a.m. only

Tuesday: Hollywood

  • Dress Up: Tacky Tourist (Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses, leis, selfie sticks, fanny packs, hats)
  • Color Run, upper lot
    • Registration: 4 p.m
    • Race: 4:30 p.m.
  • Volleyball vs. Douglas County H.S., 6 p.m.

Wednesday: Dallas (Wild West/Cowboy)

  • Dress Up: Cowboy/Cowgirl (flannels, cowboy hats, boots)
  • Unified Soccer, 4:30 p.m., Shea Stadium
  • Powderpuff (Senior girls vs. Junior girls), 6 p.m., Shea Stadium

Thursday: Washington, D.C.

  • Dress Up: USA out (red, white and blue)
  • TOMV during both lunches (bring $10 for food!)
  • Chili Cook-Off, 6 p.m.
  • Bonfire, 7:30 p.m., upper parking lot
  • Fireworks, following bonfire

Friday: New York City

  • Dress Up: Black Out
  • End-of-Week Assembly/Pep Rally, after 4th period
  • Tailgate, 5 p.m., outside of Shea (first 200 free with wristband)
  • Homecoming Football Game, 7 p.m. (blackout)

Saturday: Dance

  • The Vehicle Vault, 18301 Lincoln Meadows Pkwy., Parker, 8-11 p.m.
  • Five buses will be available to transport students from Vista to the dance in Parker.
    • Depart from the school at 7:30 p.m. Return by 11:30 p.m.
    • Sign-ups will be first-come-first-serve. Students can sign up in the Commons starting September 19 during lunch and will continue until all buses fill up.
      • Cost: $5 (cash only)
