We will be running a summer school at Mountain Vista High School during the month of June. (There will NOT be a July session) Summer school courses are designed for those students who need to recover credits and continue to proceed on track towards graduation.
Dates: Classes will start Monday, June 3 and go through Wednesday, June 27.
Times: All teacher taught classes will meet from 7:30 – 11:30 a.m., on Monday through Thursday. OdysseyWare (online) students need to plan to check in on June 3rd or 4th with their teacher and then these courses will be entirely offsite and self-paced.
Cost: $225 per class for in-district students. $275 per class for out-of-district students (a $25 late fee will be applied at late registration).
Payment: Full payment must be received in order to reserve a spot in a class. Payment options include either cash or credit card and can be made at MVHS, or online following the submission of your registration form (please allow 24 hours for processing)
Attendance: To receive course credit, students cannot miss more than 2 days of a class for any reason. On the third absence, students will be withdrawn from the course with no refund.
Courses: Please consult the 2013 Mountain Vista Summer Course Guide. Courses are available on a first come, first serve basis and will be closed when they reach their capacity. If you have additional questions or concerns regarding which course(s) to take, please consult your student’s counselor.
Registration: Starts Monday, May 6 and will be open until Friday, May 31. Late registration will start June 3 and conclude June 4. Please complete the 2013 registration form and turn it in to the Mountain Vista main office.
