Twitter has introduced a new feature called “Fast Follow” that makes it easy to follow anyone via SMS (cell phone), even if you don’t have a Twitter account.

To follow the school account, all you need to do is send a text message to Twitter’s shortcode of 40404 with the following words in the body of the text message: follow @mountainvistahs

To follow Principal Michael Weaver, do the same thing but send: follow @MVHSPrincipalMW

From there, you’ll start receiving all of Mountain Vista’s and Principal Weaver’s updates via text message. For the school account, we are using the hashtag #MVHS.

If you have a Twitter account, just “follow” us.

The school district has created a NEW GUIDE to make it easier and faster for students to log into Google Apps. Students can then access mail, sites and calendar  by using the links in the top left corner of the Google Apps Screen (this log in will require students to only type in their username and not their entire email address).

Help MVHS raise funds as it confronts a continuing budget crisis and volunteer for a new fundraising committee created to help Vista remain a great school.
