Welcome to all the new families to MVHS and all returning families!
My name is Joyce Paich and I am the Volunteer Coordinator at MVHS. I have been a Volunteer Coordinator in the Douglas County School District for the past six years. I have been a MVHS parent since the doors opened and I have a daughter who is a freshman this year at MVHS.
There are many opportunities to volunteer at MVHS. Thank you to everyone who signed up to volunteer during the online registration process. If you didn’t sign up to volunteer, you can still sign up to volunteer as opportunities come up.
Volunteer opportunities range from classroom volunteers and field trip volunteers to Parent-Teacher conference dinners, Vision and Hearing Screening, After Prom and many more.
The easiest way to communicate about volunteer opportunities is through email. Please watch for volunteer emails throughout the school year. I use Helper Sign-Up when I need a large group of volunteers or many items to be donated. A link will be provided in my emails to sign-up for volunteering or donating items.
We have a lot of events coming up. Please know that volunteers in our school make a HUGE difference to our kids and our school! We appreciate your time and know that time is very precious these days.

- Stage Flight Theater — “Little Women” and future productions, concessions, food donations
- After-Prom — Prom is April 25, 2014
