Wish Week 2017

Reveal Assembly > Friday, Feb. 3, 10:17-10:35 a.m.

Week of 1-30-17 Wish Week Assembly

January 23-28

Wish Week is the time of the year where the entire Mountain Vista community comes together to raise as much money as possible for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This year, we are being challenged by Marlee, last year’s Wish Kid, to raise enough money to grant 13 wishes, or over $100,000. It may sound like a crazy number, but it is definitely achievable if everyone comes together.

This year, our sponsor child is Kenyan, a 4-year-old boy who has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell. His favorite colors are blue and red, he loves basketball, oranges, superheroes, movies and stuffed animals. His wish is to meet superheroes.

In order to achieve our goal this year of $100,000, while also bringing the community together, we planned a variety of school dress-up days, after-school events and restaurant fundraisers.

We will be selling our Wish Week t-shirt and wristbands, which will get students into the events for free, online and at school one week prior to Wish Week. It will be $25 for a shirt and $30 for a shirt and a wristband. All events without a wristband will be $5 each.

To order the Wish Week 2017 participation package, CLICK HERE. By the way, parents, siblings and community members are encouraged to buy t-shirts as well.
